One Purpose and working principle

1. Wet electrostatic precipitator (fog) is a new dust removal equipment used to treat trace dust and micro particles. It is mainly used to remove harmful substances such as dust, acid mist, water droplets, aerosols, odors, PM2.5, etc. from moist gases. It is an ideal equipment for treating atmospheric dust pollution.

2. Applying tens of thousands of volts of direct current high voltage between the anode tube and cathode wire of a wet electrostatic precipitator (fog), under the action of a strong electric field, the gas between the anode and cathode is fully ionized, filling the space of the dust collector with positively and negatively charged ions. The dust (fog) particles entering the dust collector with the flue gas collide with these positive and negative ions and become charged. The charged dust (fog) particles move towards the anode and cathode respectively due to the Coulomb force of the high voltage electrostatic field, and release their respective charges after reaching the two poles. The dust (fog) particles themselves attach to the anode tube and cathode wire due to their inherent viscosity, and then are washed with water.

The wet electrostatic precipitator (fog) is mainly composed of a housing, an anode device, a cathode device, an insulation device, a flushing system, and a high-voltage unit.

III process performance

Wet electrostatic precipitators (mists) have the advantages of high dust removal efficiency, low pressure loss, simple operation, low energy consumption, no moving parts, no secondary dust, low maintenance costs, short production downtime, can work below the dew point temperature of flue gas, can be combined with other flue gas treatment equipment due to their compact structure, and diverse design forms.
